This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of SunshineSlingshot and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
You may not use SunshineSlingshot to create, store, publish, or distribute content that: is illegal in any applicable jurisdiction; infringes on any third party's intellectual property, trademark, or copyright; contains malware, viruses, or harmful code; is defamatory, libelous, or fraudulent; constitutes harassment, hate speech, or threats of violence; contains sexually explicit material involving minors; promotes terrorism or violent extremism; is deceptive or misleading, including impersonation of individuals or organizations.
You may not: send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or automated messages that violate platform terms; use the Service to operate a competing social media management service; scrape, crawl, or data-mine the Service or connected social platforms beyond normal usage; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data; circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, or security measures; create multiple accounts to abuse the free trial or promotional offers; use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity; resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization; use automated tools to create accounts or submit content at scale.
You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of each social media platform you connect to SunshineSlingshot. This includes but is not limited to: Twitter/X Terms of Service and automation rules; Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) Platform Policy; LinkedIn User Agreement and API Terms; TikTok Terms of Service; Pinterest Acceptable Use Policy; YouTube Terms of Service; Bluesky Community Guidelines; Mastodon instance rules. Violations of platform terms that result in action against your connected accounts are your responsibility. We may suspend your SunshineSlingshot account if your usage results in API access being revoked by a platform.
When using AI-powered features (content generation, chatbot auto-replies), you are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before it is published or sent. You may not use AI features to generate content that violates this AUP. AI-generated content must comply with the content policies of each platform it is published to.
While paid subscriptions include unlimited usage, the Service is designed for normal business use. We reserve the right to limit accounts that exhibit abusive patterns, including but not limited to: automated publishing at volumes that strain platform API limits; uploading excessively large volumes of media for the purpose of using SunshineSlingshot as file storage; creating listening monitors or competitor trackers in volumes that impact system performance.
We may take the following actions for violations of this policy: issue a warning with a request to remedy the violation; temporarily suspend your account; permanently terminate your account; report illegal activity to appropriate authorities. For minor or first-time violations, we will attempt to notify you and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue before taking action. Severe violations (including illegal content, security exploits, or repeated abuse) may result in immediate termination without notice.
